Do they take all canisters made for these stoves? We are looking at buying a second one as we have a non camping gaz single burner they appear to all be the same but camping gaz have this trick of changing the connections from mainstream options?

Hi, just seen this thread. I think you should be OK to use a Camping Gaz cannister as these stoves are rather generic. We've had different brands and they seem pretty much the same and take the CG cannisters. We had a BrightSpark stove, and one from Decathlon, plus the Bistro and all took the Camping Gaz cannister. One of the stoves stopped working, another got wet and the controls seized.
