Have a torch very similar from Wilkinsons £3.99, leave it permantly in the van, a very good light.

I think that a windup torch is ideal as an emergency backup. After all, when you really NEED a torch is not the best time to find that the batteries have died------------- hawk

I have 2 of those torches for my girls when sleeping in the tent at night. They wind them up and leave them on next to their sleeping bags as a night light/ going off to sleep and they love them . Definitely good torches and well worth the money.
