Hi.

Hope you can help?I have a laptop and want to use it while touring the Keswick area of the Lake District,can anyone recommend a mobile service provider that will work in this area with broadband 3GB

Sorry am not is Keswick.

Where I am we can only get 3 or Orange but about half a mile away you can get Vodafone.

OH used to be on an agency and work throughout the Cumbria (mostly in the Lakes). He had a vodafone phone and an orange phone just so he could be in contact. Even then there were place he couldn't get any sort of signal which is the problem around here. Best bet would probably be a roaming one - if one exists.

Hopefully someone from around Keswick will be along soon.  

Keswick C&CC site has WiFi access.

If you go on some of the network website it tells you their coverage areas. I think Carphone W'house have somthign on thier site. Problem is they are not always accurate.  

There must be one that roams and picks up the best signal it can - you need a technical bod to come along. Or you could try the Geek squad website and ask them
