Hi just wondered if anyone has fitted the battery master to their motor home (the one that tops up the main vehicle battery from the excess charge from the leisure battery). There are 3 wires, one goes to the main battery, one to leisure battery and one to earth. There is talk about wiring the battery wires to relays, cant you just wire direct to battery possitive post? Any ideas?
is this the type you are talking about,if it is you install in the possitive wire, cut the wire and attach two terminals.
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.
Thanks for the replies, got hold of a better set of instructions and have fitted the battery master and all works fine. The talk about the use of relays is that you can connect via split charge relay for better access when battery hard to access or far away from leisure battery, but the main battery and leisure battery in this van are very close together so have connected direct to battery post.
