Worked for us in Sri Lanka on honeymoon - only got bit once and that was the night I rushed out without putting any on. OH swears by Marmite (eating it, not spreading it on!)
Its the vitamin b in the marmite. I was told to take supplements (or eat marmite) 2weeks before you travel. I must admit it worked for me in the maldives
When the same tests were conducted using DEET (diethyl-meta-toluamide), approximately 40 to 45% - eight to nine mosquitoes - remained on the treated side. A ten-fold higher concentration of DEET was required to obtain results similar to those of the Catnip. Most commercial insect repellents contain from about 5 percent to 25 percent DEET. Presumably, much less Catnip oil would be needed in a formulation to have the same level of repellency as a DEET-based repellent.

I'll tell you what, this stuff does work brilliantly in removing tree sap from vehicles!
We pitched under some pine trees in France last year, resulting in the car being nicely covered in baked on, hard as rock sap. I got it on my hands when trying (unsuccessfully) to wipe the sap off, so reached for the Avon Skin So Soft and sprayed some on myself - the sap came off immediately. I then tried it on a small area of my vehicle, and found the sap wiped off easily and completely! Once I had made sure my paintwork wasn't goint to end up spotty, I used it on the rest of the sap-covered car, then washed it off with detergent.
ok i am on the avon book pages there are lots of skin so soft,!! do i go for the new anti ageing one (hubby would say yes as i am approaching 50!!) OR dry oil body spray OR the body lotion Or the sensual soft body oil!!!!??????????? in this month 3 items for £6.00 !!

If you have to have it, it's the woodland fresh one in a greenish type spray bottle. I prefer Autan myself.
