Hi there, wonder if anyone can help me.  We're buying a camping cooler and want to get a converter for it so we can just use it off a plug.  I've seen a few and they range from £12 - £20.

Then I found this Silverline one and it's only £4.  Checked with hubby who assures me it's the same as the others I've seen and what we need but I'm just a bit concerned about the price (stupid I know questioning cos it's alot cheaper than the others and should just be saving money) but can't find any reviews of this make.

But I just wondered if anyone had one of this make and whether it was OK or not to waste my money.  Really appreciate any assistance, that anyone can give.

you need to check how many amps it can handle, how much the coolbox uses, and whether the plugs will fit

some coolboxes draw 6amps (or more) on 12v, I doubt this would handle that

Do you mean this one?

I'm afraid it's only 0.5 amps, 6 watts. I don't think that would be sufficient for a coolbox.

Hi.
Are you planning to run it from 12 volt dc battery, or 230 ac mains.

Cheers Big Trev.

That's the one Caz.

Big Trev, we're planning on running it mainly from EHU unless we're on the road travelling
