I am trying to source a footprint groundsheet and carpet for an Outwell Nebraska XL. I bought it new last September to ind Outwell has discontinued the range in 2009!!!!!!Can anyone help me get these items?
I think your best bet would be to get the size of the foot print and try to get one of another brand or or make your own.I have the xl too and we used two regular ground sheets .Just make sure they do not stick out from under the tent as water will gater in between
I can remember someone searching for a Nebraska carpet some weeks ago so stocks have been very low for a while. You could try calling a few go outdoors stores as their stocks are independent of the website. Failing that is like Carole said get a larger carpet such as Montana 12? and cut it down to fit or another tent with a similar footprint perhaps a Royal Pescara 8? could have a similar size carpet.
Alternativley you need the measurements and see what is the same or similar size. Use the Outwell web site and look at the footprint and measurements of the tents there.
I was looking at the Nebraska XL in the Winfields showroom in Hull last week. They were selling everything off due to it being discontinued and had plenty of the accessories so you may be able to grab a bargain. The tents themselves were reduced to £310 despite their website still having them at £349. It may be worth giving them a ring as they have a lot more bargains in-store than are shown on their website.
I was all set to go back and grab one myself on Wednesday but then I spotted an Idaho XL online at gooutdoors.co.uk for just £225 so bagged myself an even better bargain instead! (Sadly they've all gone now and have been removed from the site - I think I may have bought the last one!). Can't wait to try it out - roll on Easter!!
