To add to the comments above re. the extending shower curtain rods, you can search out the 'U' shaped wardrobe rail end brackets (preferrably in plastic.) to fit either side of the shower.
I orginally used these with double sided sticky but, after one journey, they came off leaving the clothes in a heap.
MkII version, stuck on with a blob of clear silicone. Result is immovable!!!
