"Those are hares, not silly old rabbits. Lovely March hares!"
I've just started looking for a new 4 seat table & chairs having demolished 3 of the fold up plastic ones in the last 3 years.
Will the table legs adjust for uneven ground and do the seats look strong enough to hold 2 strapping lads? I don't mind spending the money if it looks like it may last a couple of years (hopefully more).
hi thank you for posting the link for me did not know how to do it!!! dumb blonde.
The benches seem really sturdy my hubby is 6 ft 6 and nearly 17 stone and sat on last night after me persuading him they were really good and he was very impressed. They seem sturdy enough for uneven ground and pack into a very neat padded bag which is part of the seats. The table is big enough for four and although not as "solid" as the table part of the blue foldaways more than adequate unless you plan to tap dance on it!!!!!
My advice is buy one now before they are gone cheapst I found otherwise for same item was £76.99
Reporting back about this Coleman Pack Away table. We also ordered one from Outdoor Mania, and although it took 3 weeks to deliver it is worth the wait.
The design is so clever, a roll up table that fits inside the benches. The packed unit is 11kg, so not light but no heavier than any alternative, but the compact size of it packed is it's key benefit.
It also looks quality materials, all the hinges and clips look strong enough, and the bench seat covers are a nice cushioned fabric. Would be nice to have a cover for it, but I think we've got an old tent bag somewhere to keep it in.
The price has gone up by £10 since we ordered, and it's available at Amazon now too. Well worth the money though even at £75+.
Love the table. Would really like to get one myself sometime soon too !
Just wanted to give a little warning though about OutdoorMania. Very very poor service. I ordered an item from them and was told it would be here on 'Friday'. Phoned the following Monday to find out about the item and why it hadnt arrived even though they had charged my card. Was told it was going out Monday instead. Waited till Wednesday. Phoned again (4 hours of sitting in queue then being cut off everytime at about No.2 in queue) only to find this time that the item was in fact out of stock and i'd have to take a refund.
hehe, so sorry if I put a damper on your excitement, just want to make you aware and anybody else.
On a plus note though, a lot of the bad reviews suggest its down to them sending wrong items and the customer services being terrible. (Which it is, trust me on that one) So there is nothing to suggest you will have problems.
I don't disagree with you about Outdoor Mania or Camp Mania as they call themselves. They are a small owner managed business and I think their delivery promises are fake. Every item on their website quotes "in stock" and "delivery 1 - 3 days" but in reality it seems that most items are ordered in and subsequently despatched, so 2 -3 weeks would be a better estimate.
The only thing they do well is prices, they seems to be a few pounds cheaper for most things, so it's a trade off. Low prices give you low customer service.
------------- Definately a fair weather camper. I don't like rain. Rain + Tent = Trouble.

We have had one of these for two years now, Not the coleman but looks exactly the same, Never had a problem with it at all, as you say the benches are nice and steady(remember to put the little catch in place).Only problem we found is the legs do not adjust on the table if you are on uneven ground but a piece of cardboard can soon sort that out
forgot to say, although the seat covers are removable for washing, do not put them in the washing machine, the thin foam inside the cover gets twisted and you will never get them straight again. we made this mistake and i had to cut the underneath of the cover so that i could get in and sort the foam out.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE JOKERS, BE AWARE AND READ THE REVIEWS ON CAMPMANIA, OUTDOORMANIA BEFORE YOU BUY. I put this in caps so it stood out, i was ripped off buy this company and had to get my card company to chase them for a refund.
first 2 posts and both with a link to the same blog
