I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...........
Have been torn between which trailer to get, and after following all the various helpful & informative postings, I narrowed the choice down to the ERDE 142 or Daxara 147. I've been spending alot of the time trawling the web & checking out ebay. It seems as if the trailers keep their price quite well as there's not much difference between second hand good ones & brand new from the shop.
Just bought myself an ERDE 143 (yes 143) from Wickes £369 with free delivery.
(Hope I get all the bits to build it!!)
Just need to get the cooking equipment now and we should be ready for our first trip over the May Day holiday......can't wait.
Hi, I bought a secondhand Erde142 off ebay about 3-4 weeks ago, paid £200, its as good as new, also bought the 30cm high cover, it doubles the cubic area, found it on ebay for £90, much recommended.
Well done Gloucesterboyo, I recently sold my Daxara 158 trailer which as you say certainly held its value and I sold it for approx what I bought it for 3 years ago. I made a ply boxlid that added about 12 inches additional load space and made it much easier to secure when on site. I think it was a better and cheaper option than the poly lids.
