I think that I will nip to Home Bargains later.    Could come in very handy during the summer holidays when we intend to spend most of the time on the beach.    Of couse we are going to get a decent summer this year, which means that we will be able to do this.

anybody tried them? from what i have heard some microfibre cloths are good for drying, some arent. (I got a couple from ebay as per the link in a recent topic and they were very good).

from what i have read about microfibre in general there are different types suited to different applications so i do wonder if some companies just buy whatever they can get cheap to use in there towels hence why some work and some dont.

The way I look at it, is if they ain't much cop for drying, they will do for wrapping the kids in when they get out of the water.      They can sit with them around them while they air dry.

The best ones are the flat pile, sort of look a bit like a chamois leather. like the ones ones I put the link on to ebay, or Life Venture & Gelert.

There are also some with a pile, but they are very 'polyesterish'. They seem to snag on any rough skin around the sides of your nail, heels, elbows etc. They don't feel so good on your skin, they don't dry you so well, and they don't fold up so small.

However, if money is tight, the polyesterish towels still take up less space than terry towels, so can be worth getting. Wonder if I should add polyesterish to my dictionary?
