Hi
The range of sleeping bags at Argos doesn't give the rating anymore like they used to eg: + or - but just gives the 'gsm' so out of the ones in their range what do you think of the 'envelope type' ones which are 500 Gsm rather than the 250Gsm ones as I need to get some new ones and quite like the Pro Action ones at £24.99 500 Gsm but not sure what that means.
Thanks

gsm stands for grams per square metre, it`s a measure of the density (thickness) of the fabric (also used for paper). Basically, the higher the number the warmer you`ll be.

the above was posted on the net so ive passed it on to you all the best Darren.

Hi
Thanks for the reply but have been looking at some today and I am trying to decide between buying two Pro Action Cowl 500gsm bags

http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-1428744-10294381?url=http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/catalogId/1500001501/partNumber/3408984.htm

or one Coleman Hudson Exponent range Double Sleeping Bag £49.99

http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-1428744-10475506?url=http://www.outdoormegastore.co.uk/acatalog/Coleman_Hudson_Double_Sleeping_Bag.html

I don't like being too cold and they both have good reviews.
So which ones would you buy?
Thanks
