The range of sleeping bags at Argos doesn't give the rating anymore like they used to eg: + or - but just gives the 'gsm' so out of the ones in their range what do you think of the 'envelope type' ones which are 500 Gsm rather than the 250Gsm ones as I need to get some new ones and quite like the Pro Action ones at £24.99 500 Gsm but not sure what that means.

gsm stands for grams per square metre, it`s a measure of the density (thickness) of the fabric (also used for paper). Basically, the higher the number the warmer you`ll be.
