Yes, noticed that. Different to how we do ours as the dome always goes on top, but as said there is probably loads of ways you can do it.------------- If you see a family struggling to put up the tent then it must be us!

Yes it came as promised just need some fuel now, i have some webber charcoal would these do or would they knack things up.
Did you manage to get some fuel? I have just found some *Heat Beads* tonight in "The Range". £5.99 for 4kg. Don't know whether this is a rip off or a bargain but I needed some and haven't seen them any where else local so bought a couple of bags. That should keep me going for a while.

Can I ask a few questions, sorry if they've been asked before.
1. Can you use charcoal?
2. When you BBQ on it does it give out heat? We often light a BBQ in the evening to keep warm outside.
3. Can you use them on campsites where there's a no BBQ policy. Every French site we used last year didn't allow BBQ's.

All I know from what I've read on here is that the Heat Beads are more compact and burn a lot hotter and longer. Don't know if you can use ordinary charcoal, only had the Cobb a few weeks, still experimenting with it. I would use it on sites with a no BBQ policy, just not mention it, they wouldn't know as there is no smoke.

OK, i decided to read the instructions and all it says is use Briquetes, the better the quality the better. No mention at all about heat beads. Guess Charcoal Briquetes will work then------------- Brian

Anyone know about the BBQ flavour? Do you get it with the heat beads and cobblestones in the cobb?
