Ok, for us on a budget (that's most of us in this recession!) please share tips for the the most useful piece of camping kit you gave a few pennies for.

I just got Calor gas cylinder on Freecycle for nowt which saved me £30 on the deposit for a new bottle!

Oh I forgot.. the best bargain was probaby an old but unused Cabanon Bella Vista that was given to us by one of OHs uncles.

Unfortunately it was mega huge and without a trailor we couldnt use it so we gave it away

Wish we hadnt now but hey ho lol
