Hi again samseed, people will start talking soon !!

Dont know if there is one in Wakefield or close by but if you have a look on the web for Countrywide Stores, they are farming / equestrian mainly but they do heavy duty PVC tarps that you can buy by the meter and not that expensive.

Cut the tarp to the size you need, you dont need to edge it as its PVC and not woven like normal tarp material, then get some ground sheet flat head pegs and just peg it down through the material it wont run but if you want to make a good job then you can fit some snap on eyelets to the sheet.

Hi

although we haven't got the khyam, we have a porch on the hartford. What we've found is that the groundsheet gets very muddy and sort of pools. We have decided not to put it down next week and use a mat instead. The grass will dry much quicker without the groundsheet and as long as we have something to wipe our feet on thats ok with me. Just something to consider when trying to get a groundsheet

There are a few threads on here about porch groundsheets and what other people use, might be worth doing a search

Hi samseed.

I just picked up some Butyl Rubber Pondliner, 1mm thick real heavey duty stuff, better than PVC Pondliner far mor flexible, must be 5 times thicker than the cheap tarps you pick can up, I would even say it is thicker than the PVC ZiG in my main tent, cost was £18 for 42sq ft, 43p per sq ft, as I only needed it for my Cabanon PN20 Kitchen tent, which is 7ft x 6ft floor area, got the Butyl Rubber from a "The Koi Pool" garden centre in Blackpool, they have it on the roll as well as lots of offcuts. but I would imagine most garden centres do similiar stuff, although the Butyl Rubber is harder to come by, most just stock the PVC as it's a lot cheaper.
