I am going to Glastonbury (for work), my current wellies (from hawkeshead) where reasonably cheap but haven't lasted well and now have a hole in them. I need to replace them, I am happy to pay more for a good pair of wellies that last well can anyone recommend some?
Thanks
Hannaxxx

Vote here for Hunters - not cheap but last for years - also Galloways are good - very comfy and good grip on soles - current pair is 5 years old.

i liked the hunters and got them in pink, but not very roomy on the calves (unless i have massive calves)
got some green flowery ones from B & Q a couple of weeks ago though

Thanks all for advice will check out the hunters, I don't mind paying some money for them will use them loads once I own a pair, I just don't want to pay huge amounts of money and then have them break on me after a short time.
My calves aren't too bad these days due to loosing 1 1/2 stone in the last 6 mnth but may have been a problem in the past.It would be good to try them on though, did someone say they have them in B&Q?

Two of my daughters recently bought the Hunter Festival wellies which look quite cool.
I have the more traditional Neoprene ones.
Have a look at some websites they come in lots of different styles and you can get different lengths too.------------- gingerlily

I'm a horsey person and have hunters for years, my current pair are about 7 years old and still going strong and believe me they get alot of use.
Well worth the money, and they do them in some really nice colours these days.
