I bought a Cobb yesterday - LOVE it, made dinner on it, then chocolate bananas, then cups of tea, all on one cobblestone.
We're off on our 1st camping trip as a family of 4 tomorrow, and I can't decide what else (if anything) we'll need to cook on? We still have a Triangia and one of those single burner tripod things that attaches to a gas cannister via a rubber tube, both from our more intrepid camping days. Neither are ideal with a 2yr old boisterous boy running around, but then what is?
Would it be a bit overkill to get one of those double burner Campingaz cookers? (and not take the triangia & tripod obviously) None of the kitchen/cooker stands look very sturdy?
What do other Cobb owners use? Are they effective enough to cook pasta on? I was thinking I could cook sauce first then just keep it warm while I cook the pasta/rice on the Cobb - but only if it is "powerful" enough.
Any advice much appreciated!
