I have had one of the old style red/blue material airbeds for about 25 years
still works fine, just needs a bit of air after a couple of nights as it gets a bit squidgy
lasted a lot longer than anything else i bought tho (aerobed is still new and only had 1 trip so can't put that in argument yet)

Spot on kruisler. We got Vango double SIMs last year & they're brilliant. You can use then for 2 bags next to each other, or folded over for mega comfort. Also insulates you from the ground, which I always found a problem with air beds.------------- Given the choice we would rather be camping.
