Still fairly new to the camping game and this is the 1st time I have needed to change my Camping Gaz lantern mantle. Problem is I do not know what size to get!! Anyone know how I can work it out by measurement or something as the lantern does not tell me what model either.
on the back of my camping gaz mantle packet there is a chart listing all the types of lantern and what size mantle you should use. does the lantern not have something written on it and i will compare the name to my list.

hmmm, is it one of the lanterns that screws into a small canister of gas? because if it is I am sure that a small mantle would do. i use small mantles on both a lumostar c270 and a much older lumogaz lantern. i have always used small mantles because they are all i have ever seen in the shops and looking at my list the vast majority of the campingaz lanterns take small mantels, so unless it is a lot larger than most lanterns you will probably be fine. is there not a name on either the glass globe or the outer blue casing like lumogaz?

The blue casing says lumogaz and the glass globe says camping gaz international. The lantern takes a small canister of gas which is pierced when inserted. I bought it from the local free ads so would assume its the older type as the newer ones look slightly different. I will try the small mantle. Thanks for your help.

Ahhh, my little list says that all of the different types of lumogaz take a small mantle.
