I have just bought the Cadac Eazi Chef, and Im a bit stuck

 

When do i have to use the "deflector" plate, im guessing its only for the BBQ grill.

Please advise??

I use mine for everything but the skottel. Can't guarantee that's right though.

I use the deflector with all of the surfaces as it spreads the heat evenly over the whole of the cooking surface.

I read some time ago that you use the defector plate all the time.So as the heat is distributed evenly.

I have just used mine this week for the first time, I have got to say it is a brillliant piece of equipment. I cooked a full breakfast in no time.Used it in the garden as a trial before the weekend.

I can`t wait to go away at the weekend to use it again.

I used to do that, but was usually disappointed when trying use the skottel as a wok for stir fries, wouldn't get hot enough quickly enough.

I have found this on the web, it is a lot more informative than the instructions supplied, also the skottle is best used without the deflector as when you cook with the skottle the middle should be the hottest getting cooler towards the edges which cannot be achieved with the deflector. Cadac
