Hi, silly question time.

I have been using butane (campingaz 907) with my Cadac easy chef.

Can I use propane. I was thinking of one of those Calorgas 5kg Patio gas things. Appreciate I will need new regulator.

Yes it will work fine on propane, you will just need a 37mbar regulator to suit.

Yes, I use mine on propane in colder weather. It works fine on either.
