We have just bought a relum super7 frame tent which came with a PE tarp groundsheet for the living area and a sig in the bedroom. i have been told that most UK campsites now insist on using breathable groundsheets. does this man i have to now buy a breathable one, I have heard that these will let water/damp soak through in wet condittions. i have a one year old who likes to crawl and play on the floor and do not want to spend the week cleaning him up or changing his clothes every 10 mins,(if it does rain while we are away). What about the bedroom with the sig i can't change that. what will happen if we turn up at a campsite without a breathable one, will they turn us away ?
Thank you for the quick replies and putting my mind at rest, i will sleep at night now that i don't have to tell the wife it will cost even more money to go on this cheap holiday she booked.
