Does anybody know where i can get a spare air valve cap (Looks like bottletop) for my double air bed? We have booked to go away on Saturday, first time since our VERY BAD experience in 2007, and i have just got the airbeds out and realised they are missing. Ive looked on web but cant find anything.
Hi, I know you've already solved your problem, but I live at the sea side and always remove the valves from dumped punctured beach dinghies. (which people just leave on the beach, not their problem as they go home) So far they have all been the same pattern as the ones used in about six inflatable items I have. I just put them in the camping bag. ( the camping bag weighs about thirty pounds, and contains all the items that don't really have a place but may and do come in handy )
------------- Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
If you get really desperate, please dont hesitate to try the cap from a bottle of water!! Our little snotrags sleep on an airbed that has no original cap...it got lost. One day we tried a sports bottle cap...and by gum it works..airbed has not deflated on us yet!! hehe.
It's all really camping stuff. A roll of tenatious tape, various sizes of elastic cord, loads of guy lines from various tent spares, spare small gas cannisters, air pump adaptors, spring clamps in various sizes, spare peg puller, bag of pegs just incase the tent ones have been left at home, loads of wooden discs to go under furniture legs to spread the load, Clingons, air bed/chair plugs as already mentioned, and so on etc. etc. etc. when we can't find something we know that it will have been put in ' The Camping Bag'
