Are they the notorious use-once-then-throw out Tesco airbeds? I've had a couple of these myself. (I kept taking them back till we got bored...)

yeah could be - sister & mum bought one on the way down to spending 4 days with us, brand new out the box wouldn't stay up past 3 hours, mum ended up coming in with me & OH slept on the floor with my sister on top of whatever we could find to soften the ground

Put it this way. I've taken three Tesco airbeds back over the years. I've bought one Coleman Double Comfort, £20, used it for the last five years and never had to take it back.  £4 good, but £20 for five years of good sleeping? That's a bargain!

I bought a double Tesco airbed and slept on it for three nights without problem. Pumped it up after the first night, and it held the pressure for the next two nights. So far its reliable and comfortable and for a great price.
