As my pile of camping gear is turning into a mountain before my eyes, I realise I need to purchase one of these - or a normal roofbox. I like the idea of the handiholdall as it can be stored easier than a conventional roofbox.
Does anyone have one? Are they as good as they look? Does anyone want to sell me one?

Well I'm guessing that as there's not floods of replies from people wanting to sell their's that it must be a good thing. Thanks Angie for your reply, I was worried about it being waterproof.
I am trying very hard to keep the gear down to a minimum, but my tent takes up most of my boot space... I only have a 5 door Ford Focus! And I really don't fancy a trailer. I also have an almost teenage daughter who pulled a very horrified face when I showed her the size of bag she has to pack her clothes etc in...!
Oh well, its all good fun!!

try your local Aldi for the handirack - they were on offer a few months ago but a few of the stores around here have them in the sale. I picked a rack up for £19 but I have seen them in other stores for £25 ish so you could save yourself a few pound - so you might be lucky enough to pick one up.
We have put ours on the car but have not tried it out
Hi Anthea if you can wait to buy a handirack till about friday i work near an Aldi and could pop in there to see if they have any left - they had 3 about 2 weeks ago and they were selling them for £25 and I think the postage for them is about £7.50 on a standard 3 - 5 day postage so it would cost less than anywere else but just depends how quick you want it and if they have any left
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
