I want to get some more Aspen fuel for our dual fuel stove but everywhere only seems to sell the 2T stuff (oil already mixed in with fuel for 2-stroke garden equipment engines). Can you use the 2T instead of 4T?
I am extra confused because last time I got some I am sure it was in the red/orange container which is the 2T whereas the 4T is in a blue container.
Hi Sue, I've only ever used the 4T in blue container, but I imagine using the pre-mixed oil 2T will eventually clog up your generator, and probably give you smoke and oily pans. Personally, if I couldn't get the "neat" 4T, I'd use unleaded instead rather than the 2T
