Hi does anyone know if I can run a gas stove double burner (standard camping gas one), our cadac and a 3 way fridge of one gas supply. We currently have a 907 gas canister but are considering purchasing a 4.5kg bigger one as it would be cheaper.
I am unsure if this is possible or practical and if it would be sensible to do this or just stick to seperate gas bottles. although we do our main camping holidays in France we do camp in the UK as often as time and permits.I think a 4.5kg would cover for a two week holiday but feel free to advise
We have not purchased a Gas fridge as yet so if anyone could recommend one we would be most grateful.
Caravans run everything from the same regulator, including heating and lights as well until recently, so there is no eason why you should not do the same in a tent.
Bernie47. While accepting what you have said - all of the pipes are safely hidden within cupboards etc. When we tented we would normally have 2 bottles with us:- 1 for the 3-way fridge and 1 for the cadac OR double burner. Now that we caravan we will have 3 cylinders with us on a rally in the summer:- 1 (calor - 6kg) for the van (fridge, hob / oven), 1 (calor - 6 kg) for the cadac (rarely use anything else to cook on), and one (campinggaz 904/7) for the awning / booze fridge. The individual hoses are just the length required so less things to trip over.
