Hi, I was looking at the Camping Gaz Camping chef, am I right in thinking you are not supposed to use the grill at the same time as the burners? and is that the same for all cookers? We have a VERY old cooker that I wanted to upgrade and although not brilliant the grill seems to be ok to use at the same time as the burners - grills waffles ok!
The gas pressure isn't enough to provide enough gas for both hobs and grill at the same time. However, if its not too windy, they can be used at the same time and many people do so. However, not enough gas is supplied to the grill and this limits its heat output. Enough to toast one slice at a time though
I am glad I searched for 'cooker' and found this thread. I did wonder whether that was the problem with my cooker. Still its not as good as my old cooker so I'm off to find another cooker which I can use all two burners and grill together!!!
Thanks I have been looking at this cooker - this is very like my old Tilley one. Can I assume therefore that you can cook on all 3 burners at the same time?
