I read an article at the weekend in either July or August edition Practical Caravan mag whilst on site. It listed 10 top compact bbqs but can't remember which came out tops!

Does anyone know the answer please? or have any recommendations?

The online mag doesn't list product tests after July 08, I guess to encourage folks to buy the physical thing.

We've got the 1 that was the winner (the fold up BBQ). It does fold really small but ours didn't come with a bag so we need to clean it _properly_ b4 it gets packed away.

My brother got me the winner (fold up) for my Bday this morning (its not until tomorrow but were packing tonight!) and it does look really good. Would be ideal to place on a low, wooden or steel (not plastic, just in case it melts) table as it only stands about 2-3 ft high but has a nice grilling area that you could easily cook a BBQ for 4-6 people comfortably (assuming they didnt eat like hippos :D)

The only thing that concerns me slightly are the air holes in the bottom and the large triangular gaps at either end. Presumably to let air in and ash out but it could mean two little piles of ash afterward...

Still, Id recommend it!
