Sorry to get you excited but that's what I paid for mine. Picked it up on the way to work this morning and it's brilliant - only used twice, looks new with the snuff pouch and instruction booklet. Might give it a try later tonight.
Just shows you that if you hold on long enough a bargain will crop up as I've been searching for a couple of weeks! Got it on eBay; only two bids with a start price of £20.00. Was listed simply as "BBQ"!! Didn't want to fork out the price these are new at the moment.
paid £69 pound last week,took it back after 2 days both grill plates were cracked,not worth the money IMO ,iwould say they are only worth £29.bought a webber go anywhere nearly half the price and twice as good.the webber is a quality bit of kit.
I'll see how I get on with it bryan w. I also considered the Weber Go Anywhere and the Weber Smokey Joe. The lack of cooking height adjustment lead me to try the Son of Hibachi first though. I've been through a few bbqs and like trying different ones until I find the perfect solution. Have had a Cadac (two types), Thermos Grill 2 Go, Campingaz Party Grill and a couple of cheapy DIY store charcoal bbqs. Would like to also try a Cobb.
Paid £59 for mine delivered too - its definitely the best bbq we've ever had. Have to say grillplates cracked on ours aswell but company replaced the entire clam shell - but we've kept that as a spare as bbq functions fine with the crack and others say that they've had cracks in theirs & alls well. I've just splashed out on the rotisserie for ours so we can cook a chicken or a juicy joint of meat when in France to add a bit of variety!
