Has anyone used theUCO Candlelier Lantern?

I'm thinking of getting one for sitting outside the tent. I like the soft light from candles.

Looks a bit pricey but Tamarack Outdoors have 20% off everything at the moment

Well I bought it, I've used it and I love it.

Yes it's pricey, yes it doesn't kick out as much light as an LED lantern but the quality of light is beautiful.

It's enough to read by if you sit close.

I've been too chicken to use it in the tent - even in a tall canvas bell tent -because of the kids, but it looks like it would be pretty safe - the candles are fully enclosed and only the metal top gets a bit hot. One of its selling points (in America) is that it will warm a tent and get rid of condensation.

You can get citronella candles for it.

I 've been using the single candle version (both the standard & Tea Light version) for years when fishing in the winter. They are a great bits of kit

I always take mine with us , gonna have to have a think about the Candelier now 17
