has anyone any advice on a fridge freezer that will not ignite on gas, it has worked perfectly all the time we have had it but now it wont light. The igniter is sparking. It has been suggested that a valve needs replacing at a price of £66.00 plus fitting but I would like to check all the simple things first.
A blocked injector could be the cause, if it is sparking but not lighting it could be that the gas isnt coming through, or the spark gap is too wide causing a weak spark. What make is it I have a service manual for the Electrolux range on PDF I could email it to you.
