just wondering how or where to dispose of my used/partly used gas cannisters (cv270)? bit worried of chucking them on the garbage bin or recycling bin just in case it ... explodes?

We make sure they are completely drained them put them in our recycling, but the council specifically say they accept those.

Otherwise, take 1 to the local tip and ask I guess?

Some campsites prefer not to be left when empty. Took mine to local tip and asked. all he did was shake it then threw it on top of general rubbish. Was surprised at that though.
