I have an 15 year old Groenland CTL 175 Fridge and have used it on Gas and 240 but never on 12v it has a Black and a blue wire. Anyone an idea on which is the positive and the negative, I have contacted Camping Gaz ad athough helpfull couldnt be sure!!!!!!! Please help anyone as i need it for France in three days. Nothing like cutting it fine.

On 12v is doesnt realy matter which way you connect up, you will only be completeing a circuit.

However Black is positive and blue is nagative.

Its just a heating element so i would say either way is ok

All fixed thanks yep you where correct black is positive with its age may be it didnt matter but if it had a capacitor and diodes i was botherd it may cause some form of fire hazard.
