We have a Ford Herald motorhome. During our last outing one of the kitchen taps sheared off (the drive spindle)
Does anyone know where we can buy new or spares please
Thank you

Try Alfresco Caravans and Motorhomes . They reckon they can find anything.

You can buy just the plastic spindle (is it the Elegance tap?). We had this problem in our previous caravan and found most dealers only sold the complete new tap. (very expensive!)
We got ours from The Caravan Shop in Glasgow. A long way from you, but he is very helpful and does mail order. Could be a last resort if nowhere closer!
We always carried a few spare ones. Will see if I can find the phone number.
Yes, here it is....0141 339 5888.
If it is of any help, our daughter lives only 5 minutes from him, we could collect and post to you if necessary.
The bit on ours that broke was sort of a disc with a grooved spindle in the middle, it is under the handwheel. Is that the bit?Post last edited on 21/07/2009 17:30:37------------- Jennifer

Thank you both for your information
Jennifer - we go to Dumfries a lot - so not too far. We always go to a small caravan site Glenmidge Smith in Auldgrith - lovely place.
Again thank you both very much and may well be back to you
Theresa
