Hi all, can anyone tell me what I should do in the event that the cassette toilet cartridge should overflow into it's housing !!
I have had the misfortune to have experienced such an event, and I sluiced out the compartment ASAP on site and pressure washed it when I returned home, luckily it was only liquids, and just filled the two sumps in the compartment.
You have done enough, all that I would do is to wash out the compartment with a disinfectant to make it smell a bit sweeter, I certainly would not be pressure washing anything.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
Do you not have a small LED on the cistern to warn when the cassette needs changing? My Bailey has a small battery compartment with a few AA's in it, in the cassette compartment; this powers a fluid level sensor from the cassette. When the LED's lit (which is rare coz I empty the tank regular), the cassette needs emptying.
