have you noticed it is a mains operated one.
Think you may be better with some of the many battery LED ones available.
Bill - the topic of the thread is EHU Lighting - I am pretty certain the OP is well aware it is mains operated.
OP - I think it looks just the ticket!
------------- 2011 plans:
April - Exmoor 11 nights
May - Brynawelon, Wales 3 nights
July - Rendlesham Forest 4 nights
Then I am off back home to Australia, where the weather is always perfect for camping :)
They are also cheaper elsewhere Can't remember where though as i had a few last night while doing a search for one but the price I have written down is £9.99 HTHs
Thanks for replies. I'm sure I could get them cheaper - was just making sure the type of light would suit.
Seen on this site some people use an unsealed 'batten holder' arrangement with a built in clip for attachment to the tent. Would have thought this would be unsuitable for obvious reasons.......normal bulb temp. too high condensation etc etc.
We tend to use the 12v (8W) versions of these off a small 12v battery for the tent , gives good background illumination, then use led torches to read by .
