Have just put up Vango Tigris 600 (in the garden) to check it out - first time to camp next week.  Can't find info on how best to use tension band system ? Do you tighten them all the time or unclip and only clip and tighten when bad weather ???

I've just bought one as well and struggled to find info. I did get advice that it's best to keep them taut when the tent is up as they take some of the strain. Also, the wind might get up whilst you're asleep or away.

However, be sure to slacken or undo them before collapsing the tent.

On my tent i have them loose when pitching then go around and tighten them all up.
Don't know if i'm doing the right thing but have never had a problem doing this.
