Hi all, ....I know this is a funny subject, but I'm thinking off putting my Porta Pottie outside the Van inside a Toilet tent surrounded by my Windbreaks, as it is only used first Thing in the morning if the Site-Toilets are too far away....or in an emergency in the Night...( we sometimes go Touring especially in the Autumn or early Spring without an Awning)
Thanks for your opinions,.....WERNER 3

We use a tent for the loo. No different than going to site loo - everyone knows what you're doing there too!

Why would you not put it in the van?
We have a toilet tent, I've not used it as a toilet only a shower but if we didn't have tent space I'd use it for the loo.
Not sure why you'd want windbreaks around it as well though? ------------- Piglet

Hi,....I find our Toilet/Showerspace just a little too cramped inside the Van....and we have a couple of Windbreaks around the entrance to the Van anyway....I find it gives you just a little more privacy and it stops the dog from charging out, chasing imaginary Rabbits or Ghosts etc.

We've got one and have never used it. would have thought your inside loo area is about the same as a toilet tent?? Maybe the slightly bigger version would be better?

Thumbs down - we have a toilet for overnight use and would never go away with out it but we use it inside the main tent. If you're having to go outside anyway just as well as carry on to the toilet block and spare yourself the cost and faff of a toilet tent. ------------- Tackling life the Western District way

That larger one looks like it might be a bit drafty round your nether regions

We have a toilet and toilet tent - Sorry to say that we have NEVER used them in the 2 years we've had them. Purely logistics though. We dont usually have any space for them in the car. If I could fit even just the toilet I would though and do as Merry does. ------------- Always forgive,Never forget;Learn from mistakes,But Never regret;People change,Things go wrong;Just remember life goes on
