This year we have decided to buy a utility tent to cook in and want to run an extension lead from our main tent to the utility tent to power the coolbox and a light.
I'm not sure what we need to buy for this - can anyone advise?
I assume you have a proper hookup in your main tent, with RCD built in?
If so, you just need a standard extension lead. The RCD on the main hookup will protect it. Obviously you need to follow sensible precautions about keeping it dry and off wet grass etc.
We do have proper electrical hookup with RCD. And yes, this will be on the same pitch. No more electricity-needing kit than last year - just decided not to cook in the porch anymore as too dangerous.
