I have a bell tent made of canvas.

However, the skirting that houses reinforced holes for the tent pegs to go into is made of a material like plastic ground sheeting.

I got a 4 inch tear in this plastic sheeting last week and want to do a top quality secure repair as close to invisiable as possible. Can someone help me out with a product / technique please?

glue and stitch a simular product along the inside covering a larger area than the tear, stitch down each side of tear and around edge of new peice after glueing the whole repair area

another way would be to slightly overlapp the ripped edges and simply stitch together providing you dont overlapp to much it should be unoticed
