Have just returned from Sandy Balls in the New Forest and although it was rather wet we had a great time.
I did find though that at around 8.00ish it got rather dark and our lamps just wernt bright enough to light up the tent.
Can anyone recommend some good inside lighting. We always have electric hook up wherever we go so anything that needs plugging in is ok.
Many Thanks

Hi ellyellywoo.
I use an awning light in my family tent, the light is made by P.L.S. described as 1.2 metre LED awning light (model LE800), it uses 150 Super Bright LED's and is fills the whole tent with a good light, got mine from Campbells at Preston, for £24.50 also Waudby's do them mail order, it's ment for EHU but you can run it of 12volt, I put an inline switch on mine, a usefull mod, save having to plug/unplug the unit.

Hi Francais
Thanks for that. I will have a look on line and see if I can get it.

Hi, I rig up an lamp socket with low energy light bulb and small chinese lantern. Sounds a palaver, but it's not and it looks great (and natural, too!), and collapses down well.
Regards, Julie
