We have a Gellert tunnel tent to which we attach an Outwell front awning. What I want to do is to put sewn on sides on the awning (it really is just a roof cover) to provide more shelter.
Where can I get tent weight 'nylon' fabric for the job? Is it something a sailmaker could do?
I did just this with an old tent we had last year. I bought some ripstop nylon from ebay for about £12 for 10m in silver/grey and it worked a treat. just sewed it along the top, and made ties down the sides so you can tie it up when you dont need the sides if it's not raining.
