Hi Folks .... I realise its probably cheaper to buy a leisure battery & a i realise a 85ah leisure battery will offer more power, but i want the convenience of having the 12V inputs, inbuilt charger & ideally the facility to recharge it from the car battery when on the move.
I have found powerpacks with up to 20AH built in batteries. Do more powerful powerpacks exist ??
I use one sometimes for short breaks, it's useful with the built in inverter and built in 12v plug socket, great for just charging up lap tops and running a small fluorescent strip light (inspection light) off of ... but not really designed for this sort of use unlike a proper leisure battery. I can also get twice the amps for half the price in a leisure battery, so really the leisure battery is probably the better buy for long term use.
