If you can wait a little, Lidl do a great 'fur' blanket with a fleece backing to it that's sooo warm! They usually come in black, brown and cream, if think, and cost about £14.99. Wouldn't be without mine.
If you can get to IKEA they have gorgeous red massive fleece blankets and am sure I didn't pay more than a £5 each ( look on their website) . Also, Instore (used to be poundstretcher) have cream or brown really soft faux fur / fleece throws - really soft , thick and gorgeous for about £15 - these would be pure luxury!
Google Honcho ponchos - not as cheap as a fleece blanket, but soooo warm and cosy! I have a poncho and a pair of matching trousers - no cold bits at all!!

Is this what you were referring to, as Lidl's will have them again from 20 Aug 09 onwards? Just under 7 GBP each!
I have so many fleeces already I can't possibly need more, or do I?
