Does anyone know where I could get a set of 'S' shaped hooks for hanging up coats etc from the awning? I recently saw some in someones awning but didn't get a chance to speak to them.
Thanks

Sometimes putting hooks directly round a frame tent pole can cause drips, as the ridge it makes presses into the canvas. You need to use flat band hooks similar to the ones used to hang inner tents. However these are not big and fairly useless for hanging coats. The solution is to tie a strip of J-cloth into a loose loop round the pole and hang the s-hook from that. Even better is one of the hanging-type clothes airers with lots of little pegs that you normally use for drying undies etc. I have one and use it for teatowels, coats etc. I also have one for hanging outside from the stub canopy poles for wet towels and swimsuits.

could always try asking your friendly local butcher if he has a few spare hooks you could buy from him------------- Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional
