Anyone that has one which gas canisters do you use, do you use the Cadac ones at £7 each??
I use Colemans and got them for less than 6 GBP from a fishing equipment store.
However, 7 GBP per can is about the normal price.

Thanks DK, Can I ask roughly how long a canister lasts? Think H is getting a bit tetchy about how much they going to cost after I raved about the cadac.. Thanks
We used ours almost every day to cook tea on. The canister lasted over 3 weeks. I usually pay about a fiver for my canisters at the local Discovery shop or a local camping shop.

The 450g ones last over a week's worth of morning fry ups for myself, about 45min+ frying time, or whatever it took to fry 1 sausage, 3 rashes of bacon, 2 round of black pudding, fried bread, onions, mushrooms and an egg!
It depends on how hot you need it to be of course. I don't use it for BBQ as I do not find it hot enough when compared with charcoal. And I don't use it to boil water as I always have EHU and use a low wattage kettle for hot water.
