A bit gutted... used our new Khyam Quebec tent for the first time and it got a small rip in it caused by a 'rogue' pole.
It's an 'L' shaped rip about 2" on each arm of the 'L'.
We have got a repair kit supplied but there's no advice on how to use.
So is it a case of cutting out a patch slightly larger than the rip, applying glue to both surfaces ie. tent and patch then applying? Patch on the inside of the tent? Any advice welcome!
I was just about to suggest the same McNett Tenacious Sealing and Repair Tape, I fixed a rip in our awning last year, and is still holding, even after -5 in winter and storms in Glencoe in May.
The repair kit we got our Khyam Rigidome several years back was self-sticking - just peel off the backing and apply. Any repairs we did with that have lasted years, and the fabric did match the tent.
