Hello everyone after a bit of advice. I am getting some camping gear together and was looking at coolbox. Is it really worth the extra ££'s fot the 12v ones or will i stick with good old fashion ice blocks.

I bet they kill the car battery.

Thanks

I would definately go for the 12/240v. I have one and wouldn't be without it. I plug mine into the cig socket whilst travelling to site then plug into EHU once on site. I have also used it on my leisure battery without any problem, just don't run it for too long. These hold the temperature quite well so there is no need to have it running 24/7 on the battery. But, if I am using EHU I leave it running all day.

Enjoy

thanks for the reply.

Do they make a lot of noise when running. Just trying to see if it would be better to get a non electric  say a igloo max or pay the extra to stay on a electric hook up.
