I quite fancy a wind up lantern as, on our last camping trip, a pair of wind up torches ended up being our only light source. VERY handy...

Anyone have any experience / advice???

we have a wind-up lantern but find it better to charge it up for a few days before use[if you have that type that is!]as when you have to rely on arm power it goes dim when you stop cranking!
